Got a question?

In 2012, a vision was born to establish a dedicated Mosque & centre in the heart of the community of Enfield Lock to serve the growing religious and social needs of the both growing present Muslim community as well as function to be what a Mosque is, a place where all corners of the community come to find goodness, welfare and solitude.

Through initially hiring rented facilities like community halls & schools, services were delivered to serve local needs but the pressing need for a permanent facility remained.

in 2023, we embarked on a ambitious project to secure a space in the locality for the purpose of establish the Heart of Enfield Mosque and successfully secured a 1204 square metre space for £1.1 Million.

As the Mosque continues its work to develop its range of services and engagements in the community, the underlying mission remains to create a centre of excellence, one which is open and of benefit to the Muslim & wider community of Enfield Lock.

We are about more than just building a Mosque in the community, we want to rethink the role Mosques & Islamic centres play in their communities here in the UK.

Mosque 2.0 is our thought exercise and putting together of a range of resources, ideas and standards that will help our religious institutions play a greater more effective role in their locality.

The diverse needs of the British Muslim community alongside the need for us to live the idea of ummah and of being in service to the wider community outside of our faith group requires our Mosques to have the best foundations, most innovative minds and adequate resources at their disposal.

Mosque 2.0 is very much a work in progress and we are at the time of writing building the resources and personalities that make up the building of this concept.

We welcome your thoughts & ideas on this.

What is our Cultivation Model?
Building a Mosque and swinging open the doors is one thing, systematically building community and articulating what the Mosque means to a persons life is something completely different. Our cultivation model seeks to work systematically to make sure we access and reach all elements of our community effectively. Our three cultivation groups are Individuals Families Community Through this segmentation, we are seeking to identify the unique needs of the sub sections that make up our Mosque and seek to cater and deliver resources and services effective to those needs. This is more than just a place to pray, its about each person growing their relationship with God.
