As part of our commitment to 'HEM in the community' we offer a range of services to local schools that we hope can enhance the religious education of local students as well as be of benefit in other areas.
Assemblies & Talk's
Our Imam (Minister of religion) is available to attend local school's to deliver assemblies & sessions to students & staff on Islam & comparative religion.
A graduate of Cambridge University and having completed his Islamic studies in Egypt, Our imam has a wealth of experience in delivering content in educational institutions and engaging with young people.
All our staff who attend school's are DBS certified and having completed safeguarding for children training.
Scriptural Reasoning
Finding common ground and exploring the text's of religion's on specific topics can be an excellent means of bridging gaps and learning.
Scriptural reasoning allows us to choose a topic and explore, discuss & share our faith perspectives on that topic.
We welcome opportunities to provide the Islamic perspective at sessions organised at your school
School Visit's
We are unfortunately not in a position to cater to school visits. Whilst our vision of building a Mosque locally continues, we hope to one day be able to host school visits and provide a valuable learning experience for local students.
In the meantime we are able to help connect you with other Mosques that can offer such a service and support in organising such sessions
