When I first joined HEM Supplementary School in September 2024, what stood out for me was the clear intent and desire of the Mosque Team to create a space that provided an engaging though out interactive place of learning for the young people in this community.

Having worked in Islamic School's & Madrasahs for over 20 years including my recent years as headteacher at East London Mosque's London East Academy Secondary School for Boys, Ihave had quite the insight into the changing dynamic of what learning about Islam looks like for our children.

My goal here at HEM is simple; develop & engineer a school and culture that nurtures children appreciative and aware of the role Islam plays in their life.

Enfield is a borough with a continuing growing Muslim population, now more than ever the need to develop appropriate and accessible facilities that cater to this growth is crucial.

I welcome the families and community of the Heart of Enfield Mosque & beyond to join us at HEM Supplementary School's where spiritual nurturing is at the heart of our learning experience.
